The Chief Magistrate at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Senior District Judge Emma Arbuthnot, today granted an application on behalf of our client Dr Knezevic to put back the extradition hearing in his case, following difficulties we had encountered in identifying and assembling suitable expert evidence in time for the hearing. The evidence will include international and regional experts in the areas of politics and prison conditions whose involvement and independent reports will assist the defence team to best prepare for the final hearing. Dr Knezevic was represented by Mr Hugo Keith QC.

The hearing date of 18 -22 May 2020 was vacated, and the new hearing dates were set for 7 – 11 September 2020.
