Founder Bambos Tsiattalou comments on the SFO announcing charges against two former Serco executives for fraud and false accounting, in Law360.

Bambos’ comments were published in Law360, 1 January 2020, and can be found here.

” In the last weeks of 2019, the SFO announced two significant new prosecutions that show it still has the appetite for big-ticket cases…on Dec. 16 2019, the SFO announced charges against two former Serco executives for fraud and false accounting months after reaching a deal not to prosecute the security outsourcing giant over its prison tagging contract with the U.K.’s Ministry of Justice.

“We shall see if this investigation has any teeth to secure a conviction,” said Bambos Tsiattalou, Founder at specialist fraud and white collar crime firm Stokoe Partnership Solicitors. “The SFO has already spent a number of years investigating Serco and the individuals have cooperated throughout.””
