Rhianna Tsiattalou is a Solicitor in the Civil Litigation department at Stokoe Partnership Solicitors. She is an experienced commercial litigator with particular expertise in civil fraud disputes, freezing orders, and complex cross-border litigation.
Rhianna represents high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients in high-value disputes, often securing settlements or urgent interim relief. She has significant experience obtaining and defending worldwide freezing orders and disclosure orders in support of both domestic and international proceedings, regularly working alongside overseas counsel.
Rhianna has acted in claims involving ID theft/impersonation of the vendor in property transactions to recover any monies the purchaser paid through litigation involving fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of trust, and breach of warranty of authority.
Notable cases she has acted in include Karam Al Sadeq v Dechert LLP & Ors and Jihad Quzmar v Dechert LLP & Another, in which she acted for claimants in proceedings against an international law firm concerning alleged abduction, torture, and wrongful imprisonment in the Middle East. The litigation has produced a number of reported judgments, including a successful privilege appeal in the Court of Appeal.
Rhianna has also acted in Mikadze, Bestfort & Manline v Dechert LLP and others and Mikadze & Massaad v Dechert LLP and Ors, claims arising out of the alleged hacking of confidential information.
In Armeniakou v Thomson, Rhianna acted for the claimant and successfully obtained a worldwide freezing order up to £11 million under the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 in support of Greek proceedings. In this case, she also secured disclosure orders to assist with the foreign claim, working closely with local counsel throughout.
Rhianna acted in the widely reported LCF v Michael Andrew Thomson & Ors case, a multi-million-pound fraud claim in the Chancery Division involving freezing orders, proprietary injunctions, and restraint orders under POCA 2002.
Rhianna has also acted in cases involving the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, including successfully challenging police action through judicial review and securing the return of her client’s seized dog.
Rhianna joined Stokoe Partnership Solicitors as a trainee solicitor in July 2020, qualifying as a solicitor in February 2022.
