Abigail is a Solicitor Advocate based at Stokoe Partnership’s Central London office.

Practising exclusively in criminal defence, Abigail is an experienced and tactical solicitor. She provides legal advice and representation to those accused of the full spectrum of criminal offences, but primarily complex and serious crime in the Crown Court.

Abigail is frequently sought out by clients for her expertise in handling sensitive, legally complex, or high-profile cases of the utmost gravity, many of which attract widespread media attention, or involve vulnerable Defendants.  She routinely defends clients charged with conspiracies, serious drugs and firearms offences, serious violence including homicide and GBH, terrorism, and rape.

Since joining Stokoe Partnership Solicitors in 2021, Abigail’s cases have often focused on the defence of those across the country charged with allegations arising from the hack of the Encrochat network.

Her reputation for the meticulous preparation of her caseload has also seen her instructed in Trading Standards, HMRC and SFO prosecutions across the UK, defending those involved in complex white collar financial crime, where her technical legal knowledge and analytical aptitude produce positive results, and satisfied clients.

Abigail is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 for General Crime, the 2021 guide noting that she “is a standout star. Her dedication to a case is absolutely remarkable and incomparable to the expected norm. She is intelligent, dedicated and tactically astute.”
