Bambos Tsiattalou comments in Daily Express re the FCA proceedings against NatWest

Partner Bambos Tsiattalou comments in relation to the FCA launching criminal money laundering proceedings against NatWest, in Daily Express.

Bambos’ comments were published in Daily Express, 17 March 2021, and can be found on pg 46.

“It is encouraging to see regulators enforcing stringent regulations to prevent money laundering operations of this scale, but this does not redeem their obvious failings.

“How can the FCA justify taking so long to take up criminal proceedings, given that NatWest has been cooperative since 2017? I can only surmise a lack of proficiency within the organisation.”
