About

The Stokoe Partnership is a criminal litigation practice which specialises in defending very serious crime. The practice was established in 1994 by Bambos Tsiattalou, who previously practiced as a barrister. It is Bambos’ attention to detail, meticulous case preparation and high-levels of client care that have become the standard and ethos of the practice. This approach has led to the practice securing large cases, referred not only from previous and existing clients but also from Chambers and other professionals. In order to preserve and build upon our reputation the practice has a policy of employing solicitors to manage cases at every level as opposed to unqualified caseworkers.

The Stokoe Partnership was one of the earliest members of the Serious Fraud Panel, now superseded by the Very High Cost Case Panel which recognises our ability to manage large and serious cases.

The practice consistently attracts high profile work which has been prosecuted by bodies such as the Inland Revenue, HM Revenue & Customs, The Serious Fraud Office and the Department of Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform as well as the Crown Prosecution Service.

Alongside our niche criminal practice we also represent individuals and public limited companies in allegations ranging from corruption, serious fraud (so called ‘white collar crime’) and regulatory issues brought by for example MHRA, SFO and SIA.

We have offices in both London and Manchester. Our London offices are based in Leytonstone and Holborn. In 2006, due to the demand from individuals based in the North of England we opened a branch office in Manchester.

We provide comprehensive advice and assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
